"Taking care of your health is not something to be deferred until everything else is handled. It is foundational."

— Stacie Steelman, Founder & CEO
FEATURED IN:

What is The Power Edit?

The Power Edit was created to bring a pause to life, to take a step back and consider what could happen if you don't. It is a women's health self-awareness initiative, and it exists because that pause is something most mothers are never given the space to take.

Their time, energy, and attention are directed outward toward children, families, work, and the many responsibilities they carry each day. In that constant motion, there is very little room left to check in with themselves in a meaningful way. Over time, that pattern becomes normalized. Ignoring subtle changes in the body feels practical. Pushing through exhaustion feels necessary. What begins as small moments of postponement can quietly accumulate into something much more significant.

This conversation has taken on new urgency as we continue to see a rise in aggressive cancers, including colorectal cancer, in adults under 50. Women who are otherwise healthy, active, and deeply engaged in their families and careers are increasingly facing diagnoses that feel both unexpected and far more advanced than they anticipated.

The Power Edit exists to interrupt that cycle with awareness. It is an invitation to pause long enough to listen, to create space for self-reflection, and to recognize that taking care of your health is not something to be deferred until everything else is handled.

This work was created in memory of Shenell Malloy, the founder of Do Cancer, whose vision for more comprehensive and compassionate care continues to guide this effort.

One post at a time, we show up for women.

The Power Edit was never meant to be watched passively. It was meant to be carried forward.

Anytime you see a moment from The Power Edit — whether it is an unboxing, a photo, or a story — we encourage you to share it.

This started with one decision: to stop hiding.

My name is Stacie Steelman.
I am actively living with stage 4 colon cancer for over 4 years.

For a long time, I didn’t tell anyone, not beyond my closest inner circle.
I stayed quiet because of how people reacted, how they treated me, how quickly their eyes softened or turned away.

But after years of walking this road mostly in silence, I’m done hiding.
I want to use my experience to do something good for someone else going through what I’m going through.

The Power Behind the Edit

Each item was intentionally chosen to inspire women to prioritize themselves, not just as mothers or entrepreneurs, but as whole human beings.

Even more special, every collaborator in this project was hand selected by me, women who deeply impacted my healing, my mindset, and my path.

I chose them not for their follower count, but for the change they brought into my life.

These women and their brands helped me feel stronger, more connected to myself, and reminded me what it means to invest in wellness.

Support the Mission

The Power Edit contributes to Do Cancer, an organization that provides complementary, concierge-style care to individuals navigating cancer, expanding access to resources that are not always covered within traditional systems.

Crunch Care is contributing $25 for every social media share tied to The Power Edit and has initiated a GoFundMe campaign for individuals to donate directly, with the final donation reflecting the overall reach and impact of the campaign.

This campaign is about helping women feel whole. It’s about honoring their health, their identity, their beauty, their ambition, and their right to joy.

It’s for the version of me I was 15 years ago, in the thick of raising three kids, going through a divorce, running a business, and giving everything I had to everyone else.

This is for her. And for you.

With love,

Xxx,
Stacie
